The challenge

London Power Tunnels is a £1 billion project, to rewire South London via deep underground tunnels keeping Londoners connected to safe and reliable electricity supplies. In total, 32.5km of 3m diameter tunnels were constructed deep below the road network between Wimbledon and Crayford, which carry high voltage electricity cables. This amazing engineering project posed many challenges and keeping the construction team safe at all times was one of those challenges.

The solution

Simplify were tasked with helping to raise awareness regarding the dangers of lifting operations at London Power Tunnels (LPT).  We created a flat colour illustration high impact campaign to remind people of the dangers they face every day ensuring safety is at the heart of every task undertaken on site.
